Sorry I haven't posted for a while! I wasn't feeling great (read my last article for more info) but I am officially back !
As I promised on my Twitter account here is my ESSENCE MAKE UP COLLECTION!
I love Essence for so long! this brand is one of my fav for years, I remember using my mum's make up products a few years ago and noticing how girly and cool all the products were!
I realized that I have got quite a lot of products of this brand and I can't wait to get MORE AND MORE! :)
1. SKIN
Foundation & powder
Soft and natural long lasting foundation : I love this foundation! I wouldn't say it lasts a really long time but I think it has a good coverage (light to medium) ! The only problem that I had is that It's too dark for my skin tone, so I should buy a lighter one next time! I don't use this on a daily basis but from time to time I like to switch to this foundation and I always remember why I love it that much.
all-about matt! fixing compact powder : this is amazing! It's a translucide powder so it's perfect when you only want to set your foundation in place! It fell on the floor and obviously broke unfortunately :( but I still use it when I don't need too much coverage ! I recommend this a lot !
This is the kabuki brush I use to apply my powder ! Love this brush it's in my make up bag and I use it EVERYDAY ! :)
Bronzer and blush
Bronzer and highlighter : Sun club all in one bronzing and highlighter : I love this ! I use it on a daily basis to contour my face! there's not much to say about this! it's so good. My tip would be to use the highlighter on your brow bone to catch the light! Also I use the bronzer as an eyeshadow in your crease ! Good tip for spring looks :)
Blush : silky touch blush (on the left) : Essence does some great blushers! Depending on what you like you could find pinky tones or more orangy tones! I went for a more orange one that blends really well with the bronzer ! Be careful not to put too much cause you might get too orange ahah!
the blush stick : It's so easy to use! just apply some on your cheeks and blend with your fingers to give your skin a pop of colour! I really love it!
I also have this blush brush ! I use it to contour my face and apply my blush! It's really good quality !
2. EYES
eyeshadows
Essence quattro eyeshadow and the essence metal glam eyeshadow : I love Essence eyeshadows ! I won't rant too much! I use this whenever I go to a party ! the quattro is amazing to create nice smokey eyes and the metal glam is perfect to add a bit of shimmer to your smokey eye! The metal glam is not as pigmented as it seems but it's nice anyway!
Eye sorbet : wow ! I love this! It's more like a creamy eyeshadow! It has shimmer in it and it is perfect for a natural everyday make up look!
Mascaraaaaaaaaa !
Mascara is a MUST for me! I cannot go out without mascara! It's the only make up product I can't go out without ! This no limits voluminous mascara is in my collection BUT It's not my favorite unfortunately! I'm going to be honest for you, maybelline and l'oreal mascaras work better for me but this one could work for you too! I thought it would be good to let you know about this as well!
EYE PENCILS
black and white kajal pencils : both can be used on your water line ==> black one to make your eye look smaller and white to make it bigger! I highly recommend these !
long lasting eye pencil : these amazing products are just fabulous to be honest! I really use them a LOT ! I often use the turquoise on my lower lash line for a pop of colour! I use the bronze colour all over my lid as well or on my lower lash line!
these pencils are a must in your make up collection!
LIPS
Mini lipgloss set : How cute are these ???!!! You should buy them just for their cuteness to be honest! ahha but seriously they are really nice and easy to put in your make up bag for a night out !
Lipglosses : I am not a huge fan of lip glosses I am more of a lip balm girl ahha! but these ones are really good the colour range is really nice (these are my mum's but I tested them and I thought I'd show you these as well! )
I just realized that I forgot to take a pic of my XXXL shine lipgloss but it's my fav lipgloss so far! it's really nice! (I realized I say nice a lot)
3. NAILS
I'm not going to go in too much details about this ! I love Essence nail polishes a lot and all of their nail care range! I mentioned them in my 2013 fav products article I think so check it out!
That red nail polish is also mentioned in my Valentine's day manicure :)
I don't think I ever go out of a drugstore shop without buying an Essence product! ! I tried their skin care products as well that are really great! I think if you're looking for a good quality brand for a good price it would definitely be THE one for you! I wish they could make painpots or bigger eyeshadow palettes ! But they always surprise us with new products so let's be patient!
